Cuba Defies New U.S. Sanctions

Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez strongly condemned the new sanctions imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. He criticized these measures as violations of the United Nations Charter, stating they aim to collectively punish the Cuban people and assured they would not intimidate Cuba.

The Cuban government has strongly rejected the recent sanctions announced by U.S. President Donald Trump. Havana's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, termed these sanctions as 'unilateral coercive measures' and stated they are intended to impose 'collective punishment against the Cuban people.'

In a post on social media, Rodriguez criticized the executive order issued on Friday, claiming that these actions violate the United Nations Charter. He asserted that the U.S. lacks the legal authority to enforce sanctions against Cuba or any third-party countries or entities.

Reaffirming Cuba's resilience, Rodriguez declared that the sanctions will not serve to intimidate the island nation, illustrating Cuba's firm stance against the U.S. government's recent diplomatic moves.
