This electoral feat leaves the DMK, led by M K Stalin, with just 59 seats, as TVK claims the position of the single largest party.
Breaking records, TVK secured a 34.92% vote share, establishing its dominance in its debut poll and ushering in a new era for Tamil Nadu's politics while the AIADMK secured 47 seats.
