The AINRC-led NDA claimed victory in the Union Territory elections held on April 9, with the results announced on May 4. The All India NR Congress emerged successfully, winning 12 out of the 16 seats it contested, while the BJP secured four out of 10.
Other NDA allies, AIADMK and Latchia Jananayaga Katchi, each earned a seat, bringing the coalition's total to 18 seats in the 30-member Assembly, alongside three nominated members. The Assembly dissolution marks a key transition in Puducherry's political landscape.
