In a bid to quell rumors of political realignments, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has clarified that the upcoming 'Sadhana Samavesha' convention is dedicated solely to celebrating the state government's developmental milestones and welfare initiatives.
Scheduled for May 20, the event marks three years of the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government's rule and will highlight achievements including the distribution of land title deeds to 1.52 lakh beneficiaries.
The minister emphasized that the convention should not be misconstrued as a political power play, as senior Congress leaders have not been invited, reinforcing its focus as a government, rather than party, event.
