Former AIADMK Minister Vijayabaskar Prepares for New Political Announcement

Ex-AIADMK minister Vijayabaskar, a recovered rebel MLA, is set to reveal his forthcoming political strategy, aligning it with the desires of his constituents and party supporters. He has been consulting voters from his Viralimalai constituency after reuniting with AIADMK leadership, considering possible future political moves.

Former member of AIADMK, Vijayabaskar, who previously deviated but has since returned to the party, surprised many with a meeting among his supporters this Thursday, discussing future plans.

He shared that his imminent political steps will reflect the counsel of those who backed him in the Viralimalai Assembly constituency. Acknowledging input from both local party members and constituents, he stated his decision would align with their collective aspirations.

Vijayabaskar, without committing to any speculation surrounding potential alignments with the ruling TVK, emphasized his commitment to public service over the last 25 years. His political actions, he reiterated, will honor the consensus among his supporters.

The recent political atmosphere saw him, along with other former rebels, reconciling with AIADMK's general secretary, Palaniswami, where most have agreed to follow his direction, save for C Ve Shanmugam.
