The official notification will be issued on June 1, with nominations closing on June 8 and withdrawals allowed until June 11. Voting will take place from 9 am to 4 pm on June 18, with the counting of votes happening shortly after at 5 pm.

A series of measures include live webcasting, training for election officers, and coordination between multiple departments for security and logistics. The Electoral Commission will receive video footage of the proceedings to enhance transparency. Publicity and awareness campaigns are also planned, with the Information and Public Relations Department and Doordarshan coordinating closely with election authorities.
