The newly sworn-in West Bengal cabinet, led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, promises a blend of experience and innovation, presenting a diverse roster of political leaders hailing from various social backgrounds and professional sectors. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Lok Bhawan in Kolkata with Governor R. N. Ravi administering the oath to 35 ministers, augmenting the council's strength to 41.

This cabinet stands out with its array of seasoned politicians, organizationally robust members, and professionally accomplished individuals, all represented across 13 distinct caste groups and party zones. Notably, 83% hold graduate or higher degrees, and 67% have postgraduate qualifications. Ministers under 50, including Mathabhanga MLA Nishith Pramanick, demonstrate a shift towards youth.

Reflecting diverse backgrounds, the cabinet includes medical professionals, academicians, teachers, and journalists. With extensive legislative experience, it features seasoned legislators like Tapash Roy and former MPs such as Dilip Ghosh. This varied assembly ensures regional representation and engagement with key voter demographics in West Bengal.
