Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha raised doubts on Wednesday regarding the recent transfer of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) chief amid ongoing controversies surrounding evaluation irregularities. Jha pointed out that such transfers may not represent genuine accountability, questioning whether the individuals truly responsible for the errors remain unaffected.

Jha's remarks follow the government's decision to transfer CBSE officials and establish a one-member inquiry committee led by S Radha Chauhan, Chairperson of the Capacity Building Commission. The committee will investigate procurement issues related to the On-Screen Marking system and report its findings within a month, as CBSE faces increased scrutiny over technical issues and discrepancies in evaluation.

In another political development, DK Shivakumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, marking a significant transition in the state's leadership. The ceremony, attended by senior Congress members, highlighted the party's solidarity. Shivakumar, a key figure in the Karnataka Congress, has been instrumental in the party's recent electoral success.
