Hate-Mongering Main Cause of Hostility in Cambodia: Tea Banh

- Cambodia
Hate-mongering is the main cause of hostility in Cambodia, says Minister of National Defence Tea Banh, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister. He said it leads people considering others as ‘enemies’ and seeking revenge.
Banh asked people to refrain from discrediting others through misinterpretation. “Hate-mongering is the main cause of making people in our nation despise each other, regard each other as enemies and take revenge, which could lead to war unexpectedly breaking out. I hope all Cambodian citizens will try to understand the forms this takes and its consequences and join hands to prevent all such activities.” Banh said the real situation is far different from what they say. “Our country is peaceful and full of happiness. There are difficulties only for those who endless accusations.”
He said hate-mongering can be stopped by individuals who see the reality upon reflection by themselves. “The greed of human beings has no end.”
