Slovak president Caputova says she will appoint new government on March 21

Slovak President Zuzana Caputova will appoint a new center-right government led by Prime Minister Igor Matovic on March 21, she said on Monday.

Matovic, whose opposition OLANO party won a Feb. 29 election, has put together a coalition with three other parties that will command a majority in the Slovak parliament. The new government will take over from the center-left Smer party that has ruled for most of the past decade.
