Meanwhile, zinc and copper prices recovered owing to fresh demand from industrial users.

Nickel fell by Rs 15 to Rs 990 per kg from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,005.

However, zinc regained by Rs 9 to Rs 219 per kg from Rs 210.

Copper cables scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper billets and copper sheet cutting all edged-up by a rupee per kg each to Rs 460, Rs 454, Rs 425, Rs 488 and Rs 447, respectively.
