Dry weather, dense fog in isolated places over western part of UP

The weather was dry over Uttar Pradesh with dense fog occurring at isolated places over the western parts of the state, the Meteorological (MeT) department said.

On Friday, the day temperatures were below normal in Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Agra divisions.

The night temperatures were below normal in Lucknow division. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 4.8 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarnagar.

Rains and thundershowers are likely at isolated places over the eastern parts of the state on December 17.
