Six victims in the tragic chemical factory explosion at Dombivli MIDC have been identified, an official confirmed on Friday. The explosion, occurring at Amudan Chemicals on May 23, left ten dead and more than 60 injured.

The blast's intensity meant that the bodies were charred beyond recognition, necessitating DNA testing for identification.

Dr. Suhasini Badekar, chief medical officer of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, stated that the latest identifications were based on DNA test results.
