Tragedy struck Rajasthan's Sariska national park as a leopard and her two cubs were electrocuted to death when a power line fell on them, officials confirmed on Saturday.

The heartbreaking incident occurred in the Dehra-Shahpura range, close to Alwar district's Amratwas village. Forest Officer Rajendra Singh detailed that an electricity wire broke and tragically dropped on the leopard and her young cubs.

Postmortems were conducted at the district veterinary hospital, and a thorough investigation has been initiated with a report already dispatched to senior officials for further action.
