The NDMC oversees 8,704 bell mouths along its main roads, segmented into six divisions within the Road Engineering Service. These divisions are managed by executive engineers who report to superintendent engineers.
This extensive drive is being carried out by a specialized team, comprising 17 assistant engineers, 28 junior engineers, and 1,500 field staff members, alongside other workers, all under the jurisdiction of six executive engineers. Each executive engineer has been assigned a specific target of bell mouths to clean, according to the NDMC statement.
