Tree Collapse Injures Two in Dwarka Amid Heavy Rains

Two men were injured when a tree fell and brought down a school wall in Dwarka, Delhi, during heavy rains. The men were taking shelter under the tree when it uprooted. Both were rescued and treated at a local hospital and later discharged.

In a severe weather incident, two men sustained injuries as a tree collapse led to the fall of a school wall in Dwarka's Baba Haridas Nagar. The mishap occurred on Friday evening as the men sought shelter from the heavy rain.

Officials reported that the men had parked their motorcycles under a large neem tree when the tree became uprooted due to the intense showers. The falling tree caused significant damage to the wall of an MCD school, causing it to collapse.

Rakesh (25) and Ashok Kumar Yadav (32) were trapped under the debris but were soon rescued by local residents. They received immediate medical attention at Rao Tularam Memorial Hospital and were discharged after treatment.
