Charcha 2024: India's Largest Livelihoods Summit to Foster Collaborative Action

Delhi, India – The fifth edition of India’s largest collaborative convening, charcha '24, will take place from August 20 to 22 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Organized by The/Nudge Institute, the event will bring together leaders across governments, markets, and civil society to discuss resilient livelihoods.

With 20-plus co-hosts such as Google, LinkedIn, and META, the summit is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees over its three-day duration. The event aims to foster knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaborative action through panel discussions and workshops on various topics, including rural and urban livelihoods, women empowerment, and tech for good.

Key themes will include economic inclusion, market linkages, vocational skilling, AI for social transformation, and policy and governance. Distinguished speakers include senior bureaucrats and leaders from markets and civil society. The summit will also explore the rich history of Indian textiles and its impact on livelihoods.
