Tragic Mudslide and Warnings Issued in Wayanad

A mudslide took place on Saturday just above Punchirimattam here, the epicentre of the devastating July 30 landslides which claimed over 200 lives in the district.

The district administration has issued warnings to those engaged in search operations and other activities in the area, stressing the need for extreme caution.

The July 30 landslides tragically resulted in over 200 deaths, and 78 individuals are still missing in the affected areas of Mundakkai and Chooralmala.
