Union Agriculture Minister Surveys Flood-Hit Vijayawada
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted an aerial inspection of flood-affected areas in Vijayawada with Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh. They evaluated the damage, including the Prakasam Barrage incident where large boats struck a concrete beam. Lokesh provided a briefing on the flood situation.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted an aerial survey of the flood-hit areas in Vijayawada on Thursday, accompanied by Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh. The duo visited Jakkampudi Milk Factory, Kandriga, Ajit Singh Nagar, Ambapuram, and other impacted regions by helicopter.
According to a post by PIB Andhra Pradesh on X, Lokesh briefed Chouhan about the severity of the flood situation. Chouhan also inspected the Prakasam Barrage, which suffered damage when three large boats collided with a concrete beam.
