'Kalyan Mandapam': A New Dawn for Social Events in Gorakhpur
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 'Kalyan Mandapam' in Gorakhpur, providing affordable five-star facilities for social events to economically weaker and middle-income groups. He also launched other development projects worth Rs 103 crore, including a gas-based animal crematorium and honored sanitation workers for their excellent service.

On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the 'Kalyan Mandapam' in Gorakhpur, offering five-star amenities for social events to the economically weaker and middle-income segments. This initiative aims at expanding civic amenities and providing spaces for marriages and social functions, bridging the gap for those who cannot afford luxury venues.
In the newly established Khorabar ward, the Chief Minister launched Gorakhpur's first Kalyan Mandapam, built at a cost of Rs 4.71 crore, alongside unveiling several other projects, including a Rs 4.55 crore gas-based animal crematorium and facilities like a shed at Kanha Gaushala in Mahewa.
The inauguration was part of a larger set of development projects worth Rs 26.31 crore, with an additional Rs 76.40 crore marked for future works. Adityanath also praised sanitation workers, awarding them for their contributions, while also ensuring financial aid for a deceased worker's family.
