A tragic road accident occurred late Tuesday night in the suburbs of Shimla, claiming the lives of four individuals, including a woman and her young daughter, as their vehicle plunged into a gorge.
The incident happened near Lalpani Bridge on the Anandpur-Mehli road. Immediate efforts by police and the state disaster response force resulted in retrieving the bodies, which were subsequently sent for post-mortem examinations.
The victims, identified as Jai Singh Negi, 40, Mukul, 10, Rupa, 45, and her 14-year-old daughter Pragati, were all local residents, underscoring the tragic loss for the Shimla community.
