Lightning Strikes: A Close Call in Jammu

A house in Dhinady Khurd village, Jammu, was damaged by lightning, but the family living there remained safe. The incident occurred at 7:30 am, causing extensive damage to the property's electrical systems and roof, as reported by the house owner, Sansar Chand.

A lightning strike on the outskirts of Jammu city caused substantial damage to a house on Monday. The family of three inside the residence emerged unharmed, according to local officials.

The incident unfolded in the village of Dhinady Khurd, within Bishnah tehsil, near Jammu city at approximately 7:30 am. A pronounced blast sound accompanied the striking event.

Sansar Chand, the homeowner, reported the destruction of electrical gadgets, the home’s wiring, and the roof. Thankfully, Chand, his wife, and their son avoided physical harm.
