Rain-soaked Punjab Sees Temperature Dip

Heavy rains in Punjab, especially in cities like Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Patiala, resulted in a drop in maximum temperatures. Chandigarh recorded 10.3 mm of rain with a maximum temperature of 27.7°C. Other regions, including parts of Haryana, also experienced cooler temperatures due to the rainfall.

Heavy rains lashed various regions of Punjab, including Chandigarh, leading to a significant dip in maximum temperatures on Monday. Residents across the state experienced relief as the rain brought down the heat.

Chandigarh witnessed 10.3 mm of rainfall, with the maximum temperature plummeting to 27.7 degrees Celsius. Several other cities, such as Ludhiana, Patiala, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, and Mohali, also recorded substantial rainfall.

In the neighboring state of Haryana, the weather mirrored this pattern, with cities like Ambala, Hisar, and Karnal reporting cooler maximum temperatures owing to the rainfall, marking a noticeable change in the regional climate.
