A devastating accident occurred in Jharkhand's Deoghar district when a bus carrying Kanwariyas collided with a truck hauling cooking gas cylinders.
The mishap, reported by police, resulted in at least five deaths and left 23 others injured. It took place near Jamuniya forest around 4.30 am under the Mohanpur Police Station limits.
Authorities, including Inspector General Shailendra Kumar Sinha and Traffic Deputy SP Laxman Prasad, indicate that casualties may rise as the condition of several injured individuals remains critical.
