The Chhattisgarh cabinet has greenlit the allocation of 90 acres of land at a concessional rate in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar to establish Information Technology-related industries, according to a government official.
Aimed at wooing IT firm investments, this initiative forms a crucial part of the state's industrial development strategy. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai led the cabinet meeting at the Mantralaya, Nava Raipur, where the decision was made.
By offering land at reduced prices, the state government anticipates a surge in private sector participation, leading to job creation for local youth. The enhanced technological and economic activities are also expected to boost infrastructure development in the region.
