Cyclonic Storm Ditwah Brings Torrential Rain to Andhra Pradesh

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in parts of Andhra Pradesh due to a cyclonic storm named Ditwah from November 30 to December 3.
The storm, positioned over the southwest Bay of Bengal and near north Sri Lanka, has been moving northwards, affecting the region significantly. Andhra Pradesh's authorities anticipate heavy rain in areas like Tirupati, Chittoor, Prakasam, Nellore, Kadapa, and Annamayya districts.
The IMD warns of thunderstorms, lightning, and gale-force winds up to 70 kmph during this period. Jain from APSDMA cautions fishermen against venturing into the sea and urges residents to be vigilant.
