Inferno in Lakdawala Bazaar: Major Fire Engulfs City Godown

A massive fire engulfed a godown in Lakdawala Bazaar, Nagpada, causing extensive damage to property without any injuries. The fire department controlled the blaze after more than two-and-a-half hours. The cause of the fire, which affected wiring, installations, and furniture, remains unknown.

A significant blaze erupted in a godown at Lakdawala Bazaar, Nagpada, on Saturday evening, causing widespread damage, though fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to civic officials, the fire brigade successfully tamed the inferno after a grueling battle lasting over two-and-a-half hours. Eyewitnesses reported that the raging flames were visible from a distance.

The fire, confined to electric wiring, installations, wooden furniture, and MS sheets over an extensive area on the first floor, has yet to reveal its cause, officials stated.
