The East Vinod Nagar Metro Station, a key hub on the Delhi Metro's Pink Line, has clinched the esteemed 'Best Performing Unit' award at the National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) 2025.

President Droupadi Murmu bestowed the honor during a ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, celebrating achievements on National Energy Conservation Day. This accolade, selected by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power, highlights the station's exemplary energy conservation and performance over the last three financial years.

Recognized for its comprehensive energy-saving measures, East Vinod Nagar Metro Station has implemented regular energy monitoring, swapped conventional lighting for LED fixtures, and installed a 150 kWp rooftop solar power plant. These initiatives have led to significant reductions in energy usage, nearly halving its electricity needs with renewable sources.
