The incident occurred during the construction of a Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP). Prompt rescue efforts were made by police and disaster response teams, who rushed to the site upon learning about the collapse and managed to save the trapped laborers.

Victims were transported to a nearby hospital in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, where postmortem examinations for the deceased are set to take place. Families of the victims have been informed, and police have begun the necessary legal formalities. A demand for Rs 50 lakh in compensation has been made by a kin of one of the deceased workers.
