Two labourers lost their lives during a tragic incident at an under-construction apartment complex in Ranchi, after soil caved in on them, police reported Tuesday.

The construction site, located near Ram Temple within the Gonda police station jurisdiction, became the scene of the accident on Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

Police disclosed that both labourers were from Thakurgaon in Burmu block; their families have received their bodies. In response to this fatal accident, an investigation has been launched to determine negligence or wrongdoing.
