Echoes of Disaster: Remembering the 1905 Kangra Earthquake

This commemoration coincided with an international seminar at the Central University, Dharamshala, discussing the state's increased earthquake vulnerability.

Recognized for its seismic risks, Himachal Pradesh has been reclassified as Seismic Zone VI, prompting state authorities to enhance disaster preparedness initiatives.
