During the Maharashtra Foundation Day celebrations, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar called for a collective resolution to transform Beed district into a developed, capable, and self-reliant region. Her connection to Marathwada's cultural heritage added a personal touch to her appeal.

Pawar outlined various initiatives designed to boost the district's development. A notable Rs 197 crore CIIIT project is underway in partnership with Tata Technologies, aiming to provide skill-based education to around 7,000 students. The district’s airport and railway are also slated for upgrades to enhance connectivity.

Investments in sports, highlighted by a Rs 25 crore sports complex, position Beed as an upcoming venue for the Khashaba Jadhav State Level Wrestling Competition in 2026. Pawar also acknowledged Beed’s strong performance in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and honored exemplary service by local police and medical personnel.
