Second Cub of Attacking Tigress Captured in Chandrapur
In Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, officials successfully captured a second cub of Tigress T2, who was responsible for the deaths of four women. Efforts continue to capture the remaining cubs. The tigress was tranquilized earlier and has now been safely captured along with her cubs.

In the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, forest department officials have captured a second cub belonging to the notorious Tigress T2, who was linked to the deaths of four women last week. Attempts are ongoing to capture the remaining cubs of the tigress.
The tragic incidents occurred on May 22 at the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve near Gunjewahi village. The tigress was tranquilized last Saturday, and a Rapid Rescue Team successfully captured her two-year-old cub identified as SAM-2 in the Sindewahi range.
Another cub, SAF-1, was tranquilized and captured on Thursday, confirmed veterinary officer and head of the Rapid Rescue Team, R S Khobragade. Khobragade, noting this was his 111th tiger capture, stated that efforts persist in capturing the remaining two cubs.
