ASEAN countries agree to up cooperation in renewable energy, natural gas, LNG, joint statement says

ASEAN countries agreed to increase cooperation in renewable energy, natural gas, and LNG, as well as expand energy transition cooperation at a summit in Kazan, Russia.

​ASEAN ‌countries on ​Thursday agreed to ‌increase cooperation in renewable energy, natural gas, and ‌LNG, according to ‌a joint statement signed at ⁠a ​summit ⁠in the Russian city of ⁠Kazan.

The Association of ​Southeast Asian Nations ⁠also agreed to expand ⁠cooperation ​in the field of ⁠energy transition, the statement said.
