NASA dragonfly mission to Saturn’s icy moon, Titan

Space agency NASA today announced there dragonfly mission to explore Saturn's icy moon, Titan. Titan is the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere and the largest moon of the planet Saturn.

NASA mission to explore the second-largest natural satellite in the Solar System will be launched in 2026 and expected to arrive in 2034 to explore dozens of locations across the icy world which will be named as 'Dragonfly' mission.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine took Twitter and announced the dragonfly mission to the Titan. He wrote, "The next NASASolarSystem mission is #Dragonfly."

"Our next destination in the solar system is the Saturn's icy moon, Titan. Advancing our search for the building blocks of life, our Dragonfly mission will launch," wrote NASA on Twitter.
