The Chicago Cubs activated outfielder Jason Heyward from the 10-day disabled list prior to Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Heyward was placed on the DL on Aug. 31 due to right hamstring tightness.
Heyward is batting .275 with seven homers and 52 RBIs in 114 contests entering play on Sunday.
Heyward wasn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's game.
