Russian driver Daniil Kvyat will make his Formula One comeback with Toro Rosso next season, the Red Bull-owned team said on Saturday.
The 24-year-old replaces Frenchman Pierre Gasly, who is moving to Red Bull following the departure of Australian Daniel Ricciardo to Renault.
Kvyat has had a chequered career to date, racing for both Red Bull teams before being dropped in 2017. He has been working with Ferrari as a development driver this year.
