Draymond Green received a one-game suspension without pay from the Golden State Warriors for "conduct detrimental to the team" in the fallout from Monday night's explosive exchange with All-Star teammate Kevin Durant. Green was set to serve his suspension during Tuesday night's home game against the Atlanta Hawks and reportedly sacrifice more than $120,000 in the process.

NFL pulls plug on Mexico City game over unsafe field conditions

Next week's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams originally scheduled for Mexico City will now be held in California due to unsafe field conditions at the Estadio Azteca, the National Football League said on Tuesday. After consultation with the NFL Players Association and an inspection by field experts it was determined that the Azteca surface did not meet NFL standards.
