Edin Terzic, the head coach of Borussia Dortmund, will leave the club immediately after requesting his contract be terminated. The Bundesliga club agreed to his request following a joint discussion, marking the end of his tenure at the club.

Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic will leave the club with immediate effect after requesting his contract be terminated, the Bundesliga side said on Thursday.

"Borussia Dortmund and coach Edin Terzic are going their separate ways. The 41-year-old asked BVB to terminate his contract immediately. Borussia Dortmund agreed to the request after a joint discussion," the club said in a statement.
