Fiorentina have completed the permanent signing of Croatian international Marin Pongracic from Lecce, as both Serie A clubs confirmed on Friday.

While financial details were not revealed, Italian media indicated that the transfer fee is approximately 15 million euros ($16.33 million) for the 26-year-old defender.

Pongracic, who was born in Germany, participated in two of Croatia’s three matches in the recent European Championship and holds 10 caps for the national team.
