Saji also showcased his talent in the Sanix Cup in Japan, considered Asia's premier youth football tournament. He earned a spot in the Sanix Cup Team of the Tournament and scored goals against U-21 sides of Kerala Blasters and Dempo SC during the Reliance Foundation Development League.
