Indian archer Bhajan Kaur achieved twin victories, propelling her into the women’s individual pre-quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old showcased exceptional skill by defeating Indonesia’s Syifa Nurafifah Kamal and Poland’s Wioleta Myszor in her opening rounds, despite struggling in the team event.
Conversely, Dhiraj Bommadevara exited the men's event after narrowly losing a shoot-off to Canadian Eric Peters. Ankita Bhakat also made an early exit, defeated by Myszor in the opening round. Kaur will next face Diananda Choirunisa in the round of 16.
