Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma Headline Delhi Premier League Inaugural Draft

Purani Dilli 6 reinforced their squad around Pant and Ishant, adding all-rounders Lalit Yadav and Shivam Sharma. They also picked young talents like Arpit Rana and Prince Yadav. The West Delhi Lions chose Hrithik Shokeen as their first draft pick and Navdeep Saini as their subsequent choice. Their team also included Dev Lakra, Deepak Punia, and Shivank Vashisth.

The North Delhi Strikers prioritized pace, drafting Harshit Rana, who was impressive in the recent IPL season. They also acquired leg spinner Suyash Sharma, medium-pacer Pranshu Vijayran, former U19 player Vaibhav Kandpal, and Kshitiz Sharma. The Central Delhi Kings secured former India U-19 skipper Yash Dhull and Prince Choudhary, with additional commitments including Hiten Dalal, Jonty Sidhu, and Lakshay Thareja.
