Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has been named the flagbearer for the closing ceremony of the ongoing Paris Olympics. Expressing her pride, Bhaker described the honor as a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' that she will cherish throughout her sporting career.

At a press conference held at the India House, Bhaker reflected on her journey at the Paris Olympics, where she opened India's medal tally with a third-place finish in the women's individual 10M Air pistol event. Later, she secured another bronze in the mixed team event alongside partner Sarabjot Singh.

Commenting on the prospect of India hosting the Olympics in the future, Bhaker expressed her enthusiasm, noting that such an event would be a significant boost for athletes in the country. 'Hosting the Olympics would inspire many and help develop better athletes,' she added. Bhaker aspires to be one of the greatest in her sport and remains committed to winning more medals for India.
