Olympic Medallist Manu Bhaker Takes Break Ahead of World Cup
Olympic double medallist Manu Bhaker is set to skip October's World Cup as she takes a three-month break from shooting, her coach Jaspal Rana confirmed. Bhaker, who made history for India in Paris by winning two bronze medals, aims to prepare for the 2026 Asian and Commonwealth Games.

Olympic double medallist Manu Bhaker might miss the upcoming World Cup in October, according to her coach Jaspal Rana. The celebrated 22-year-old pistol shooter has decided to take a three-month break.
Bhaker etched her name in Olympic history for India by clinching two bronze medals in Paris in the women's 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event, paired with Sarabjot Singh.
Following her return from Paris, Bhaker plans to rest and recharge before setting her sights on the 2026 Asian and Commonwealth Games, Rana noted.
