Priyansh Arya complemented Badoni's heroics with six consecutive sixes in one over, scoring 120 off 50 balls. The duo's 286-run stand broke the record for the highest partnership for any wicket in T20 cricket.

Badoni's 165 off just 55 balls surpassed Chris Gayle's and Sahil Chauhan's previous joint record of 18 sixes, making him a new T20 sensation. South Delhi's total narrowly missed the all-time high T20 score set by Nepal at 314/3.
