India's women's hockey team, under captain Salima Tete, is ready to improve its performance in the FIH Pro League. With well-prepared players, the team aims to overcome past setbacks and achieve better results against top-ranked opponents. Their campaign begins in February, facing England and other strong teams.

India's women's hockey captain, Salima Tete, expressed her confidence in her team's ability to improve performance as the Bhubaneswar leg of the FIH Pro League kicks off this Saturday. Despite their previous disappointing season, the team is ready to redeem itself.

India will open its campaign against England at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium, seeking to better their eighth-place finish last season, a result that only placed them ahead of the USA. Other competitors include Germany, Spain, and top-ranked Netherlands.

Head coach Harendra Singh is optimistic, praising the team's hard work and preparation. With home crowd support, they are focused on securing maximum points. India's squad features a blend of experienced players and rising stars, gearing up for redemption following recent successes in Asian competitions.
