Sairaj Bahutule, who represented India in two Tests and eight ODIs, has become a revered figure in first-class cricket with over 6,000 runs and 630 wickets to his name. His List A career further boasts an impressive 197 wickets. The 52-year-old has successfully transitioned to coaching, mentoring teams like Mumbai, Bengal, and Kerala.
Head coach Rahul Dravid lauded Bahutule's comprehensive understanding of spin bowling, stating this addition would align with the Royals' vision of nurturing young talent. Bahutule has expressed eagerness to work with Dravid and contribute to developing a formidable bowling unit.
