The Chennai Heat displayed an impressive performance, defeating the Mumbai Titans 86-69 during the InBL Pro U25 league clash at the Thyagraj Indoor Stadium. Tad Dufelmeier emerged as the standout performer, scoring 23 points and securing 9 rebounds, effectively avenging a previous 70-85 setback to the Titans.

Despite the Titans' early 6-0 lead, initiated by Elijah Puna and Gurwinder Singh, the Heat gained momentum as Jack Stanwix ended their scoring drought. While they initially struggled with fouls, a pivotal 14-0 run led by Jaideep Rathore, Dufelmeier, and Malak Majak shifted the game’s tides in favor of the Heat.

Building a 14-point lead by halftime through effective defense and fast-break conversions, the Heat maintained their dominance. Although the Titans sought a comeback through Durrell McDonald's shooting, the Heat’s staunch defensive play and final-quarter threes from Majak and Dufelmeier sealed their victory.
