In recent developments within the BCCI, Rohan Dessai has been appointed as the Honorary Joint Secretary, earning a position on the Women's Premier League (WPL) Committee. Dessai's election comes after a vacancy initiated by Prabhtej Bhatia, who transitioned to the Honorary Treasurer role.

The Punjab Cricket Association's head, Dilsher Khanna, has also been nominated to the eight-member Women's Premier League Committee, reflecting ongoing changes in BCCI's internal structure.

The updated committee now consists of Roger Binny as Chairperson, with Devajit Saikia as Convenor, and including Arun Singh Dhumal, Rajeev Shukla, Prabhtej Bhatia, Rohan Gauns Dessai, Madhumati Lele, and Dilsher Khanna, ensuring diverse representation and expertise.
